Position Overview
We’re looking for a motivated, technically minded individual who thrives in a dynamic, team-driven environment. While this position will start with a focus on learning our technical products and services by way of counter sales and pump repair work, it will naturally grow into an inside sales role specializing in fire pump systems, startups, testing, and sales to industrial, commercial, and municipal customers.
As a small business, we all pitch in where needed. This means the ideal candidate must also be comfortable wearing many hats — whether it’s answering phones, helping with shipping and receiving, stocking shelves, handling light maintenance tasks, or even cleaning when necessary. No task is “beneath you,” and a proactive, hands-on mindset is essential.
Key Responsibilities (Initial Role)
Assist walk-in and phone-in customers with parts and pump sales
Assist in diagnosing and repairing pumps and water system components
Support inventory management and order fulfillment
Work closely with our knowledgeable team to learn our product lines and services
Future Growth Opportunity (Inside Sales Path)
Provide sales support and system recommendations for fire pump systems
Coordinate fire pump startups, testing, and documentation
Develop relationships with industrial, commercial, and municipal clients
Prepare quotes and specifications
Expand knowledge in and support our industrial, commercial, and municipal product line

Technical Qualifications
Basic knowledge of plumbing, pipe fittings, pumps, and water systems
Basic knowledge of electricity and motors
Eagerness to adapt with a strong desire to grow into a long-term key sales role
Nice to Have
Real world experience or technical training in motors and motor controls
Familiarity with water, effluent, sump, and sewage pumps
Experience or genuine interest in water treatment and filtration systems
